Sales Manager with French (France Region)
We are Semrush, an IT product company. More than ever, we are now in need of a new colleague to take on the role of Sales Manager fluent in French and English.
Who would fit the role?
Below we’ve tried to describe the desired experience and competences of our future colleague:
Experienced in sales (B2B sales experience would be a huge plus).
Fluent in French and English (С1/С2).
Experience working with CRM systems.
Hard-working, proactive and persistent, creative about the sales process.
What we’d consider a plus:
An internship with active use of a foreign language.
Basic (or not so basic) idea of SEO/SEM/SMM.
Tasks to perform as part of the role:
Working with “warm” leads and existing clients in one of the following areas: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey – preparing and giving presentations, processing requests, sending out newsletters.
Processing incoming requests.
Working closely with the regional marketing team.
Maintaining a client database.
A bit about the team you’d work with:
The role implies working as part of the Sales Team. The members of the team are in charge of presenting the product and attracting new clients. No surprises there!
Here’s where it gets interesting: structurally, the bigger Sales team consists of separate subteams with people specializing in different tasks – Regional Sales (that’s the one this ad is for), Pre-Sale engineers, Customer Engagement & Renewal specialists, Sales Analytics.
The team itself is large and multinational. Members speak 6 different languages, so their office sometimes resembles a busy city square: lots of people, laughter and foreign speech ringing out everywhere.

A breakdown of the interviewing process for the role:
You respond to the job ad.
If your CV suits us, we will request a 2-3-minute video presentation of you telling us about yourself in two languages: English and the second one of choice (French, German, Spanish, Portuguese).
That will be followed by a phone call with a recruiter (20-45 minutes).
Then there’s an interview with the team lead (40-60 minutes).
And finally – a test task in which you need to prepare a video version of our product demo for a potential client.
